I used to watch Looney Tunes with my best friend back in the late 90s when we were kids in elementary school. I had such a happy childhood, I love remembering it.

90s Disney Channel was the best, though I sadly didn't get to experience much of it during my actual childhood. I did love the animated Disney movies to death though, and I wished they'd make more of them. Disney Channel kicked ass before all the crap they had in the mid-late 2000s and still have nowadays.

Same with Nickelodeon...I LOVED the old Nicktoons from the 90s (Doug, Rocko, Ren & Stimpy, Aaah! Real Monsters, Rugrats, etc.) and then in the 21st century, it started sucking. The only 2000s Nicktoons I enjoyed were Catscratch, Danny Phantom (even though I disapproved of Nicktoons taking a "serious" direction, I DID enjoy that one, even though most episodes of Fairly OddParents annoyed the piss out of me despite both shows being made by Butch Hartman) and pre-2003 Spongebob. Now Nickelodeon has gotten even worse as its demographic switched from kids to "tweens," and stopped focusing on cartoons in favor of boring and annoying teen dramas and unfunny sitcoms. I want my childhood back!

My best friend says that's actually what she likes about My Little Pony. She looks after kids, and she's happy to see there's still a wholesome show with good morals to teach kids nowadays. Most of the stuff on Nickelodeon now, she describes as "catty." The kids are disrespectful to their parents and would sell their souls to be cool, popular, etc.

Exactly! I like MLP for that exact reason...well, that's one of the main reasons I like it. We really need more shows like MLP:FiM in this day and age...I get pretty tired of seeing characters acting like jerks to each other and saying vulgar things, all that stuff. We live in a disrespectful time, it's a good thing we have a respectful show to watch and enjoy. I'm a brony, and that's what I think "love and tolerance" is all about.
