More Snow!

Journal Entry: Tue Feb 9, 2010, 6:27 AM
We finally have some of that snow the rest of you fine people have been bragging about. =P Two whopping inches, in fact. Schools are still open in this county, however, and we only get off work if the city schools are closed. I have a feeling all our morning appointments will cancel, then I'll be asked to call the afternoon appointments and ask them to come early, then they'll think I'm crazy for asking them to leave their house and brave the snow for the sake of their teeth, so we'll all go home.

Random facts about me (to be added to whenever I think of more):

-I graduated in Summer 2008 with a degree in Computer Graphics Technology. I'm currently working as a receptionist in a dentist office, trying to get some web design work going on the side.

-I'm notoriously clumsy. =P Think, a female version of Tim Allen from Home Improvement.

-I have seemingly infinite long-term memory, and can remember even the names of characters from cartoons I watched as a child. On the flipside, I have almost zero short-term memory, and can forget a phone number in between hearing it and finding a pen to write it down.

-While I don't consider myself a 'goth,' I've always had a dark sense of humor ever since I was little. Hence, I like any story with a dark/gothic theme to it, and I enjoy Halloween more than Christmas.

-I am crossing my fingers for the 'Twilight' fad to hurry up and die off, already. It is a perverse insult to real vampire stories everywhere.

-I have quite an over-active imagination. I can see just about any everyday event or thing and play out something fantasy-based about it in my head.

-I don't like watching TV, or chatting on the phone.

-I love to sing along with my iPod in the car. That's pretty much the only time I get away with singing out loud. =P

-I'm a very, very white dancer.

-My biggest pet peeve is people who think the world revolves around them, and who whine and complain about every little thing that doesn't go their way.

-I have Asperger's Syndrome, which is like "Autism's Little Brother." :P That just means being social doesn't come naturally to me, and I occasionally do come across blunt or rude. So if I offend you, sorry in advance. I was just being too honest for my own good.
